About the role
Our client, a growing, independent disaster-restoration company, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee both mitigation and construction work for commercial and residential disaster-restoration projects. Only candidates with prior restoration experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Obtain work authorization, proposal, and contract
- Secure necessary project permits
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets using Proven Jobs software
- Send welcome emails to new clients and provide project-specific information via Proven Jobs Notes
- Monitor, analyze, and report hydro-related data using Encircle
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and schedule walk-throughs with subcontractors or team members to inspect work
- Ensure completed areas match the scope of work
- Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide regular project updates
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion
- Schedule sign-off walk with property management
- Document all completed areas in an email to the team
- Complete and execute all sub-trade work orders
- Obtain Certificate of Completion signed by owner representative
- Create final photo report of completed work
- Oversee and manage multiple mitigation and construction projects simultaneously
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and adjust plans as needed
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies
- Manage change orders, approvals, and additional client requests
- Maintain client relationships and streamline project documentation using Proven Jobs software
- Conduct post-project evaluations, ensure customer satisfaction, and send survey emails via Proven Jobs
- Ensure the client has paid the full balance and profit margins were met
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of Project Management experience, or 5–7+ years of other construction leadership experience
- Prior experience in disaster restoration (required)
- Experience with both mitigation and reconstruction work
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Relevant certifications and degrees (e.g., IICRC, WRT) are a plus

Pay
