Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Cook up with customers and EPC sales, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, finance, project engineers, and service teams to ensure successful deliveries
• Secure all commercial and schedule aspects of project are clear and appropriate
• Record, file, and organize project information
• Handle change orders in ERP system
• Document commercial items as needed
• Manage project scheduling, management, delivery, and commissioning
• Propose and implement risk assessment and mitigation plans to hit project budgets and targets
• Pinpoint, resolve, and communicate resolutions on customer issues, escalating unresolved issues to immediate manager
• Spot opportunities and provide recommendations to business unit for sales management and project execution process improvements
• Act as the single point of contact for customers on assigned projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, training in Project Management ideal
• 3-5+ years’ experience in project coordination or project management
• Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills & good customer service mentality
• Proactive attitude
• Experience in Microsoft and Google environments
• Basic understanding of technical concepts

Qualifications

• Commercial and technical aspects need to be considered to ensure project success
• Interface internally with people from almost all the internal teams at EPC
• The role offers a good variety of tasks with organization, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and leadership being critical
• This role can be in-office, hybrid or remote
• The Project Manager will need to visit the factories in Poway, CA or Simpsonville, SC as needed
