Responsibilities
- Cook up with customers and EPC sales, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, finance, project engineers, and service teams to ensure successful deliveries
- Secure all commercial and schedule aspects of project are clear and appropriate
- Record, file, and organize project information
- Handle change orders in ERP system
- Document commercial items as needed
- Manage project scheduling, management, delivery, and commissioning
- Propose and implement risk assessment and mitigation plans to hit project budgets and targets
- Pinpoint, resolve, and communicate resolutions on customer issues, escalating unresolved issues to immediate manager
- Spot opportunities and provide recommendations to business unit for sales management and project execution process improvements
- Act as the single point of contact for customers on assigned projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, training in Project Management ideal
- 3-5+ years’ experience in project coordination or project management
- Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills & good customer service mentality
- Proactive attitude
- Experience in Microsoft and Google environments
- Basic understanding of technical concepts
Qualifications
- Commercial and technical aspects need to be considered to ensure project success
- Interface internally with people from almost all the internal teams at EPC
- The role offers a good variety of tasks with organization, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and leadership being critical
- This role can be in-office, hybrid or remote
- The Project Manager will need to visit the factories in Poway, CA or Simpsonville, SC as needed
