Job Details Description Overview: The Project Manager acts as the overall leader of electrical projects assigned and ensures customer satisfaction through taking overall accountability to complete projects safely, on time and on budget. Compensation Range for this Role: $90,000 - $125,000 Annually, Depending on Experience **Relocation may be available for the right fit!** General Responsibilities Maintain open communication lines with all working relationshipsFollow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performedEarn and maintain customer’s trustUphold the core values of the organizationWork well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the job Specific Responsibilities Supervise all project personnelTake responsibility for productivity, safety, and safety audits.Perform job walksTake ultimate responsibility for the billings, understanding the job well enough to front end bill it.Participate in Project Manager meetingsHelp to develop phase codes for the projectProficient in developing budgets and forecastingAdequate understanding of the project schedule to provide input to your Superintendent on accurate man loadingAbility to write commodity purchase order from the installation estimateManage subcontractors and vendors at financial levelProficient in estimating change orders on a projectAssist project team with labor cost codes for the projectEnsure all parties to the job, at all levels of the job, apply their time into the proper phase code for time keepingCreate change estimates to any changes to the projectPerform a detailed installation estimate on lighting, gear, special systems, and committed material to verify quantities from the estimate developed through project developmentProficient with material procurement process, including: quoting, procuring, receiving, tracking Proficient in the cost to complete process and monthly forecastingTake ultimate responsibility for submittalsAssist with submittal creation and procurement of materialMake certain purchase orders are written and that the project is current on change orders to the purchase ordersCoordinate and maintain relationships with all project stakeholdersEnsure proper maintenance of construction documentsActively engage in any required meetingsEnsure the proper permit is obtained in the jurisdiction for the job locationUnderstand the permitting process and what the wiring methods are in different jurisdictionResponsible for project closeout documentationPrior to completion, involves the service department so they know the job and are introduced to the owner to maintain the relationshipAssist closing out the job with vendorsComfortable and Confident in providing value to a project interviewEffectively work with and support Preconstruction ServicesAccurate and consistent man loading of your project scopeWork with project team to set up the jobUnderstanding of how to effectively utilize support service groupsWork with the project team to build an information sheet and map to the jobsite.Strong communications with the entire project team (Internal and External)Ability to navigate Project Management SystemTravel may be agreed upon or required for this positionOther duties as may be assigned Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of: The construction process from scheduling to manpower to the labor, materials and equipment required for installation Constructability and the construction process Algebra and geometry StatisticsFinancial math Physical Requirements DrivingSittingClimbingLifting (up to 50 lbs.)StandingStoopingVision acuity (near and far)Walking Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required.An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field OR a Journeyman’s License with five years of progressive experience in the electrical trade is preferred.
