About the role
At Dome Construction, our Project Managers do more than manage schedules and budgets. They lead projects from concept through completion, build strong client relationships, mentor developing team members, and drive successful outcomes that leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Thousand Oaks team and take ownership of exciting commercial construction projects throughout Southern California.
What You'll Do
Leading the planning, execution, and overall performance of commercial construction projects
Managing project budgets, cost forecasting, change orders, and financial performance
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, and project stakeholders
Overseeing schedules and ensuring project milestones are achieved
Identifying and proactively resolving project challenges and risks
Mentoring Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while fostering a collaborative team culture
Partnership with field teams to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence
Supporting preconstruction efforts including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Strong understanding of construction processes, project financials, scheduling, and contract administration
Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, and navigate complex project challenges
A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and developing others

Southern California Pay Range $138,000—$169,000 USD
