About the role
We are hiring a full-time Project Manager to support the owner of a growing construction and remodeling company. This role is highly operational and focused on keeping projects organized from start to finish. You’ll coordinate with clients, contractors, designers, and vendors while ensuring project information is documented accurately and nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where organization and follow-through are critical.
Fully remote. Must be English-speaking. Hours: 9am–5pm CST.
Responsibilities
- Support the owner in managing multiple remodeling and construction projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate project schedules, site visits, and communication between clients, contractors, designers, and vendors.
- Translate handwritten field notes into detailed, organized digital documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Track project progress and proactively follow up to ensure deadlines and action items are completed.
- Communicate with clients to provide project updates, answer questions, and coordinate material selections.
- Assist with planning materials, maintaining inventory records, and documenting project requirements.
- Record and organize project expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain project pipelines and ensure all project information stays current and organized.
- Research construction products, materials, and potential solutions as requested.
- Assist with updating construction plans and documentation as projects evolve.
- Help the owner stay organized by tracking priorities, reminding them of outstanding tasks, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, project coordination, or executive support role.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal team members.
- Highly proactive and able to identify issues before they become problems.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to drive projects forward independently.
- Comfortable learning new software and working across multiple systems.
- Must own and be able to use a working computer with high-speed internet.
- Must be English-speaking.
Nice to Have
- Background in construction, remodeling, architecture, interior design, or a related industry.
- Experience coordinating construction projects or working with contractors.
- Experience researching building products, materials, or vendors.
Pay
$2,000/month
