Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will support a 36-month onsite assignment at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of assigned construction projects.
• Cookordination with design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Provide expert-level project and/or construction management consultation.
• Support Government inspection and quality assurance teams.
• Track project schedules; identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and inspection records.
• Use construction management software for scheduling, tracking, reporting, and documentation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university
• Experience: Minimum 7 years managing facility construction projects, experience in supervision of engineering, design, and construction teams, Schedule control and progress tracking, Cost management and budgeting, Full project lifecycle management, Strong understanding of construction documents and coordination, Excellent communication and leadership skills, Ability to read and interpret construction documents, as well as communicate effectively with project construction team members.
• Functional Responsibility: Manage technical quality, schedule, and cost across projects, Provide expert consultation across technical and personnel matters, Maintain oversight through daily reports, inspections, and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, PE, RA) are a plus

Skills

• Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy.
• Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills
