Project Manager
About the Role
The project manager is the first point of contact for any project issues or discrepancies arising from within the various departments in an organization before the problem escalates to higher authorities. They monitor the details and status of projects, drive regular governance meetings, promote communication, and align efforts with the goals of the program. This individual drives the process of maintaining progress, mutual interaction, and tasks of various parties to reduce the risk of overall failure, maximize benefits, and minimize costs.
Reports to: Department Director
Responsibilities
- Provide clear expectations for the intended results of projects.
- Delegate work effectively and manage communication with customers.
- Manage sub-contractors and project resources, including time, schedule development, and control.
- Oversee deployment deliverables to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
- Identify and resolve product issues, escalate decisions, and establish quality measures to ensure milestones are met.
- Schedule and plan final walkthroughs, manage change orders, and secure project signoffs.
- Handle project billing and reconciliation.
- Provide day-to-day technical and professional guidance to department staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and make recommendations for personnel actions.
- Maintain monthly job costing reports (generated from TigerPaw or supplied by the manager).
- Provide up-to-date expense reports at the culmination of every week.
- Consistently update Outlook Calendar to reflect accurate availability.
- Adjust work hours, priorities, and staff assignments based on workload to ensure efficient operation.
- Assist in customer transition to the Service Department.

- Provide leadership and direction for the delivery of project objectives.
