Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager oversees projects from award through completion, including shop drawing, submittal, purchasing, measuring, scheduling, fabrication, installation, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittals: shop drawings, product literature, samples, and color charts for approval.
• Complete material takeoff and optimization.
• Order all necessary materials for projects.
• Attend job site meetings weekly or bi-weekly as required by the general contractor.
• Coordinate with shop fabricators and field installation personnel.
• Obtain field measurements and revise shop drawings with Drafting as needed.
• Attend contract meetings.
• Monitor project progress, including quality assurance, project budget, and change-order preparation/submission.
• Ensure project closeout by providing all necessary closeout documents and warranties.
• Visit job sites for meetings as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
