About the role
Join our team as a Nuclear Project Manager, where you will own the overall project delivery function and be responsible for the outcome of project execution. This role successfully delivers Celeros projects in a manner that fulfills contractual and technical requirements, meets or exceeds customer expectations, and adheres to safety and ethical standards, while achieving Celeros target margins and promoting Celeros’ reputation in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Leads and delivers projects valued over $100K with technical, specification, or operational risks.
- Plays a critical part in the full project lifecycle—from tendering activity (including proposals) through project closure and cash collection.
- Manages project complexity involving numerous internal and external stakeholders, technical challenges, multi-site coordination, global and virtual team collaboration, and high levels of functional integration.
- Owns each assigned project, resolving problems promptly while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Key responsibilities include project handover, risk management, customer relations, contract management, scheduling, cost control, internal stakeholder coordination, progress reporting, variation order management, on-time delivery (OTD), cash collection, project closeout, and LD negotiations.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the nuclear sector.
- Experience in the Industrial or Power & Energy markets.
- Professional background in manufacturing with a technical aptitude in engineering.
- Experience working in a nuclear Quality Program and familiarity with nuclear material supply codes and standards (e.g., ASME NQA-1, ASME Sec. III Code, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR Part 21) preferred.
- Experience dealing with complex customer specifications and documentation requirements.
- Past supervisory experience preferred.
Skills
- Ability to lead large-scale project teams and report to executive management with relevant presentations and updates.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally, managing projects through influence diplomatically.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and SharePoint.
- Experience working with an international customer base.
Pay
The base pay range for this position is $110,000 – $120,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
