What You Will Own
- Full management of assigned electrical construction projects from award through closeout.
- Project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and financial performance.
- Contract review, project planning, work breakdown structures, and cost code development.
- Submittals, RFIs, design clarifications, and coordination with engineers and consultants.
- Procurement of switchgear, lighting, electrical equipment, cable, and specialty systems.
- Vendor management, subcontractor buyout, and procurement activities.
- Manpower planning, construction sequencing, prefabrication, and field logistics.
- BIM coordination meetings and trade coordination.
- Monthly project forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and financial reporting.
- Change order development, negotiation, and execution.
- Installation quality, inspections, testing, commissioning, and punch list completion.
- Compliance with NEC requirements, local codes, company safety standards, and QA/QC procedures.
- Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, subcontractor meetings, project documentation, and meeting minutes.
- Progress billings, pay applications, invoice approvals, and lien waiver processing.
- Final project closeout, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, owner training, and project turnover.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor.
- Strong South Florida multifamily electrical construction experience.
- Experience managing apartments, mixed-use, podium, or large residential projects.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects from award through closeout.
- Strong understanding of project financial management, procurement, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of NEC requirements and South Florida construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel preferred.
- A collaborative, accountable leadership style with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
