Project Execution & Delivery Management
Lead and manage medium-to-large scale, complex projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets effectively.
Proactively manage project risks, identify challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure seamless delivery.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Bravo17’s project management processes, methodologies, and standards.
Team Leadership & People Development
Build, motivate, and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary project teams.
Develop and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment and supporting their ongoing growth.
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the program management function, ensuring employee well-being is prioritized.
Stakeholder Engagement & Mission Alignment
Effectively manage project stakeholders and build strong, trust-based partnerships with clients and federal agencies ("Not just Customers, Partners").
Effectively communicate project plans, metrics, and results to senior leadership and external stakeholders using data to drive team performance.
Ensure all project deliverables strictly prioritize user experience ("User-Centric") and map directly back to measurable mission outcomes.
Required
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in project management or program management roles.
- Clearance: An Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance is required.
- Project Delivery: Proven track record of successfully leading, managing, and delivering medium-to-large scale projects on time and within budget.
- Financial Acumen: Direct experience managing project budgets and resources effectively.
Practice Contribution
Willingness to contribute to Bravo17's internal program management methodologies and standards.
A focus on operational efficiency by leveraging existing templates, methodologies, and best practices ("Don't Reinvent, Reuse").
Strongly Preferred
- Experience managing digital products, applications, system design, or IT optimization projects within a federal or defense environment.
- Background working closely with cross-functional technical teams (software engineers, UX designers, data analysts).

Location
This role is remote; however, preference is given to candidates located in the Washington DC area, Denver, Chicago, or Atlanta.
