In Clinical Engineering, our mission is to provide a team of empowered professionals delivering continued improvement in patient care and equipment planning & support technologies. The Clinical Engineering (Clinical Asset Management) team provides operational support and maintenance management of diagnostic, treatment, and patient support technologies. Specific service areas include:
- Medical equipment planned maintenance services
- Medical equipment demand and corrective maintenance services
- Operational support for functions employing medical technology
- Support of Risk Management and EH&S functions
- Technology asset management support, acquisition, and disposal
- Technology maintenance contract management
- Technology capital project planning and management
Role Purpose
Manages small to mid-size project(s) or subprojects and project teams in order to achieve engagement goals and reach successful business outcomes. Project assignments, team size, and duration will vary and be limited in scope, complexity, and quantity to ensure appropriate attention to project details.
Responsibilities
- Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis, and tracking
- Change management
- Team facilitation
- Risk and issue identification and mitigation
- Stakeholder tollgates and reports
- Assists in project management training consistent with PMI and PMBOK
- Manages deliverables from resources assigned to project tasks and maintains team progress toward goals
- Develops work breakdown structure, timeline, dependencies, and milestones
- Manages functional and business development requirements
- Builds project approval and charter documents
- Tracks and analyzes task completion, risks/issues, mitigation strategies, and schedule adjustments
- Completes project reporting and dashboard documents to inform stakeholders and project plan
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field
- No prior supervisory experience required
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience
- Less than 2 years of supervisory experience
- PMI Project Management Certification
