Responsibilities
- Support application development and data integration initiatives.
- Independently manage mid-sized to large IT projects.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technology deliverables.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT project management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proven experience delivering projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project and portfolio management tools such as MS Project, Planview, and SharePoint.
- Broad understanding of enterprise IT systems and integration patterns.
- Experience within commercial insurance or financial services environments preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work successfully in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and proactively address project risks.
- Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder relationship-building skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.
- CPCU designation or advanced degree is a plus.
