Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments.
- Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
- Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risks, logistical issues, budget, and scope.
- Cook up and track all Vendor Request For Proposals (RFPs).
- Coordinate and interact with contractors and subcontractors.
- Prepare and update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
- Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical paths.
- Cook up the activities of subcontractors and relocate technical functions.
- Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure a safety plan is in place and activities are performed with a safety-first methodology.
- Aid the Local Project Development Services team in meeting Adjusted Gross Margin targets on a regional and national level.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services technology as required for assigned projects.
- Travel to project locations as required.
Requirements
- Project management experience in construction or related fields.
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience in project management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Ability to prepare and track budgets.
- Understanding of technical requirements for construction and renovation projects.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with architectural and engineering drawings.
Qualifications
- Project experience in biopharma, research, labs, or vivarium.
- LEED, AIA, PE, and/or PMP certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $70.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:

About the Role
This position involves working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels. The successful candidate will exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a varied workload, managing multiple projects ranging in value from $250K to $5M.
Work Environment
The role is based on-site in Mattawan, MI, with travel required to various projects as needed. This position plans to convert to a full-time equivalent role.
