About the Role

Lead assigned projects end-to-end — from order through final customer acceptance — across Design Build (DB) and Build to Print (BTP) work streams, with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Support Program Managers on larger or more complex programs, leading specific project phases or projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Utilize the Ascential Production System (APS) to manage the full project lifecycle — planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
  • Fully accountable for project budgets and cost performance; identify variances and take corrective action when deviations occur.
  • Proactively identify, document, and manage project risks and issues; implement mitigation strategies and escalate as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact at the operational and technical level for all matters related to scope, deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as a secondary customer contact for technical matters, enabling direct engagement with technical owners as needed.
  • Review and manage project contracts to ensure clarity of deliverables, responsibilities, and obligations.
  • Ensure all customer-facing program documentation and deliverables are met, including Functional Design Specifications, Acceptance Test Plans, and milestone packages.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, project activities, and key milestones.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer counterparts to drive project satisfaction and reliable delivery.
  • Work closely with Application Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, Assembly, and other cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated project execution.
  • When supporting program-level work, coordinate with the assigned Program Manager and project team to ensure alignment with program priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.
  • Support procurement and production readiness to ensure materials and resources are available to meet project timelines.
  • Ensure smooth project handover to Customer Service and the customer at closeout, with fully documented and agreed-upon action items.
  • Invest approximately 10% of time in contributing to the Ascential Production System (APS) and PMO — actively supporting the tools and processes that drive organizational delivery performance.
  • Identify and share process improvement opportunities based on project execution experience.
  • Maintain disciplined project documentation and reporting standards to support organizational visibility and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, particularly in Design Build (DB) and Build to Print (BTP) work streams.
