Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will coordinate and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, maintain project documentation, track project requirements, and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Maintain Jira boards, project plans, trackers, and documentation.
• Track project requirements, priorities, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Partner with technical and business teams to coordinate project execution.
• Follow up on action items and help remove project blockers.
• Prepare project status updates, presentations, charts, and other leadership communications.
• Cook up daily team stand-ups and weekly organization meetings.
• Support product-launch activities by tracking required documentation, forms, approvals, and security/cyber reviews.
• Maintain a clear plan of record and ensure project decisions and deliverables are properly documented.
• Identify process gaps and proactively establish mechanisms to improve project tracking and execution.
• Communicate project status and risks clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• Experience with strong Agile/Scrum.
• Understanding of SDLC and technical concepts such as APIs.
• Experience with Jira and project documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.

Qualifications

• Location: Richmond, VA or McLean, VA - (Hybrid Onsite role).
• Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between [$60,000- $65,000 annually]/[$35.00- $40.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
