Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Nuclear Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex projects within a nuclear utility environment. This individual will provide strategic leadership, oversee project execution from initiation through completion, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, along with extensive experience managing high-impact projects in the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex nuclear projects.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project deliverables.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while implementing effective contingency plans.
- Track project performance and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply project management best practices.
- Mentor and guide project team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, maintenance, and business functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience leading complex projects, preferably within the nuclear or utility industry.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects from planning through implementation.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic and highly regulated environments.
- Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Technical background in:
- Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) (Preferred)
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Experience managing capital projects, plant modifications, outage-related initiatives, or major infrastructure programs within a nuclear environment.
- Advanced knowledge of risk management, forecasting, budgeting, and project controls.
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Additional project management, engineering, or nuclear industry certifications are highly preferred.
