Project Manager

Contract length: 6+ months · Start date: ASAP · Location: Remote (EST)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support operational and training-focused initiatives. This individual will drive project timelines, ensure compliance requirements are met, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and maintain strict adherence to project deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across operations, training, engineering, and leadership teams. This role is not highly technical but requires the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and engineering partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive project timelines and ensure milestones are delivered on schedule.
• Track and manage project deliverables through established project trackers and dashboards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure related initiatives remain on schedule.
• Partner with onsite teams and leadership stakeholders to ensure training requirements are completed.
• Monitor compliance activities and ensure training completion deadlines are met.
• Manage reporting deliverables and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Build and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and workflow maps.
• Track project risks, dependencies, and escalations while ensuring SLA adherence.
• Support process improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience managing IT, operations, infrastructure, or support-focused projects.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience driving projects with strict deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, and operational workflows.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST · Flexibility required

$70–$75 per hour
