About the role
Aperia Solutions is a Texas-based fintech and managed consultancy firm specializing in custom SaaS applications and software-based solutions for the payments, banking, and processing industry. Founded in 1999, Aperia offers business intelligence, risk management, compliance, and customer intelligence platforms to clients including banks, processors, payment facilitators, merchant service providers, independent sales organizations, and government entities. This role involves managing enterprise projects for a key client in the payments space.
Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate project planning, host and attend daily stand-up meetings, participate in sprint reviews, and lead lessons-learned and retrospectives.
- Actively participate in and evaluate sprint and release planning to deliver a cohesive project schedule.
- Conduct routine planning sessions with the Scrum Master, Client Engagement Manager, and Product Owner for alignment on project plan and roadmap.
- Evaluate sprint/release progress relative to the project plan.
- Ensure development teams practice core Agile principles: collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
- Lead projects from initiation through closure, meeting outlined success criteria.
- Produce project plans, estimates, and deliverables consistent with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Monitor and report on project status, milestones, and issues.
- Prepare estimates of effort (EOE) and evaluate estimates to complete (ETC).
- Interface with internal business analysts, technical personnel, and management to assess and determine resource requirements and resolve conflicts.
- Define standards for project management documentation, measurements, and reporting.
- Support the project team with deliverables as necessary.
- Interface with Aperia Solutions clients regarding project status and issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in project management in an Agile environment.
- Experience with AI projects.
- Delivery of technical software solutions using SDLC methodologies supporting Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile models.
- Familiarity with project management concepts, deliverables, and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience producing project tracking documentation.
- Experience in conflict resolution.
- Process orientation with emphasis on measurement and feedback.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated leadership in motivating teams to high performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at the business and technical level.
- Strong work ethic, commitment, and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, especially during critical project schedules.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- BA or BS degree preferred.
Eligibility
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday.
- Willingness to participate in late night calls periodically.
