About the role
Immediate openings for experienced restoration Project Managers to drive the production and execution of restoration projects in Draper, Utah. The Project Manager plans, executes, and finalizes restoration and reconstruction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals, and execute each assigned project.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Draft and submit estimates using Xactimate.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Take project manager on-call shift 6 days per month (evening/weekends), including taking calls from the answering service, dispatching crews, and EMS site visits for commercial, board-up, and large profile losses.
Requirements
- 6+ years in emergency services restoration and/or reconstruction firm project management role.
- College degree or equal career experience.
- Solid restoration knowledge and reconstruction experience.
- In-depth experience using Xactimate software rebuilds.
- Advanced drying certification and experience.
- Residential and commercial reconstruction experience.
- Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors/vendors on projects.
- Flexible during times of change; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional customer communication and service skills.
- Ability to sell and present contracts to clients and close deals.
- Knowledge of the property/insurance industry.
- Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
- Valid driver’s license.
