Your future role
You'll drive the execution of projects with no-criticality, ensuring contractual requirements and customer expectations are met while optimizing financial performance and delivering on time. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, operations, and finance), define project strategies in line with contract requirements, manage customer and stakeholder relationships, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Defining project strategy in line with contract requirements and allocating objectives to sub-systems (planning, cost, quality, performance).
- Accountability for project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance.
- Leading and coordinating project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with goals.
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Representing the project to Alstom management and providing regular updates on progress.
- Proactively managing risks, identifying savings opportunities, and driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, and finance to ensure project success.
- Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions as needed to meet objectives.
- Ensuring adherence to Alstom’s processes, standards, and values throughout the project lifecycle.
All about you
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of managing operational scopes and leading multi-functional teams.
- Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
- Coordination skills to manage complex projects and stakeholders.
- Prior experience in project deliverables.
- Proactively managing risks and identifying savings opportunities.
- Driving continuous improvement in project execution.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with railway products and systems is preferred.
- Ability to work in multicultural environments and adapt to different business cultures.
