Project Manager

About the role

Rauser Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead the construction of design-focused custom homes at the highest level of architecture and craft in Austin. This role blends traditional project management with on-site supervision, overseeing budget, schedule, documentation, and communication while coordinating day-to-day fieldwork and ensuring quality.

We collaborate with excellent subcontractors and craftspeople, so this is not a command-and-control position. The role involves being prepared, communicating clearly, solving problems early, and fostering an environment where talented people can excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project budget, schedule, documentation, and communication.
• Coordinate day-to-day work in the field and monitor construction quality.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, craftspeople, homeowners, architects, and consultants.
• Read and interpret detailed construction documents.
• Hold team members accountable without micromanaging.
• Ensure architectural intent is maintained while delivering high-quality construction.
