Project Manager

About the role

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is seeking a Project Manager in the Patuxent River, MD area. The position involves analyzing and coordinating schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget for products or services on a per‑project basis, leading technical staff, and serving as a point of contact for clients or customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate project schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget.
• Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
• Serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.
• Ensure project procedures and controls are followed.
• Manage manning and staffing project efforts.
• Lead problem‑resolution efforts.
• Interface with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding technical aspects of programs/projects.

Requirements

• Experience supporting senior Navy and DoD leadership liaison operations and providing facilities management.
• Experience managing large, cross‑functional efforts delivering research, analysis, executive leadership, knowledge management, training, administrative, operational, and/or technical support within DoD/Navy.
• BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Management, or a relevant technical discipline (AS/AA degree plus four additional years of experience, or eight additional years of experience, may substitute).
• At least 5 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/lead role, with financial management and administrative activities experience.
• Experience performing complex evaluations of procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, or systems related to management problems for corporate operations of a major Legislative or DoD Echelon Command/Secretariat.
• Past experience supporting a Navy or Marine Corps Command Element (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands.
• U.S. citizenship (required by Government contract).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with the standard Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Pay

$126,000 to $135,000 annually
