Responsibilities
- Oversee program-related activities managing concurrent construction projects at an active healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY in support of the overall Program Manager.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery across all project phases and stakeholder groups.
- Advocate for ethical and safe working practices throughout all project operations and construction activities.
- Support innovation in program and construction management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation and operational excellence.
- Identify areas of high risk and proactively implement mitigation strategies to positively impact program outcomes and project success.
- Possess extensive experience leading New York commercial and/or healthcare building projects through every phase of the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including coordination with multiple stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage complex construction projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar value, thereby increasing the potential for larger change orders and consequences of error.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts while ensuring adherence to approved timelines and cost parameters.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including direct reports and cross-functional staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable New York State and local building codes, regulations, and healthcare facility standards throughout project execution.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews, inspections, and testing to verify that all work meets contractual specifications and industry standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, contractor performance, and procurement activities to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, performance metrics, and executive summaries to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements: Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.

Pay
The range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
