Project Manager
About the role
The Project Manager position in the water and wastewater system integration industry is a technical role that involves leading and managing technically complex projects and teams that provide designs for electrical equipment and instrumentation with advanced process automation and controls.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution.
- Technical Team Leadership.
- Develop initial project financial and scheduling documents.
- Cook up multi-disciplined schedules for the project teams.
- Update and track project deliverables.
- Monitor and update on project procurement activities or status.
- Monitor, update, and process project documents.
- Process project invoices.
- Administrator Project close-out documents and activities
Qualifications
- Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on system integration projects.
- Technical Experience:
- Familiarity with system integration concepts, methodologies, and technologies.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Monday.com).
- Desired Education and Experience:
- A field of study in Information Technology, Computer Science, Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Degrees in Management Information Systems (MIS), Systems Engineering, or other technical fields will be considered.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and software systems.
- Ability to understand technical documentation and communicate technical information clearly.
- Proficiency with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledge of collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
