About the role
The Project Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage multiple small to mid-size projects simultaneously and coordinate with all levels of staff and stakeholders across firms who will benefit from Aderant’s comprehensive solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in global accounting implementation, ERP systems, law firm operations, or a proven track record of successful project implementation in a software environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Develop project plans and assemble and coordinate project staff.
- Manage project budget and resource allocation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Track project deliverables using CRM and Professional Services Automation tools on a daily basis.
- Provide direction and support to the project team.
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project goals.
- Evaluate projects and assess results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–4 years of experience leading complex software implementations for the full project life cycle.
- A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software environment.
- Project team management experience.
- Excellent client-facing skills.
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project and Professional Services Automation tools.
Relevant backgrounds include global accounting implementation, ERP systems, or law firm practical experience (client-facing, support, or administrative).
