The IT Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate IT project activities to support organizational goals and project objectives
- Develop and manage project schedules, deliverables, milestones, and timelines
- Maintain project documentation including plans, procedures, and lessons learned
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
- Optimize project management processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into project plans
- Cross-functional teams to support project implementation and execution
- Support the adoption and use of project management tools and platforms
- Stay current with emerging project management tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Provide user guidance and training on project management tools when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in IT project management or related roles
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Trello
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
- Experience working with enterprise IT systems and processes
- Familiarity with cloud-based project management and collaboration tools
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred Certifications: Program Management Professional (PgMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), DAU Program Management Certifications, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Benefits
Salary range for this position is up to $228,000, depending on qualifications, including relevant certifications, education, years of experience, and demonstrated experience supporting Federal Government programs within the field.
