Project Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to support new product development programs within a fast-growing engineering organization. This position will play a critical role coordinating cross-functional teams, managing program schedules, and ensuring successful execution of complex capital equipment projects.

Responsibilities
- Support new product development programs involving multiple engineering disciplines.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Support the full product lifecycle from concept through production release.
- Assist with engineering program budgeting and cost tracking.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a key interface between:
- Engineering
- Marketing
- Operations
- Technology Teams
- Executive Leadership
- Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Resource & Change Management
- Support engineering resource planning activities.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and project documentation updates.
- Assist with Bill of Material (BOM) management and tracking.
- Help identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Project Execution
- Drive the development, execution, and completion of complex engineering projects.
- Support procurement, manufacturing, and engineering activities throughout project execution.
- Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
- Experience managing or coordinating engineering or technical projects.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with:
- Project scheduling
- Change Orders / ECOs
- BOM management
- Cross-functional coordination
- Status reporting and project tracking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including:
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Project
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, industrial machinery, or automation systems.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical products including:
- Motors
- Vacuum pumps
- Robotics
- Heaters
- PLC-controlled systems
- Instrumentation
- Experience with SAP, ERP, or MRP systems.
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks exposure.
- Knowledge of product development and engineering workflows.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.

Schedule
This is a fully onsite, contract position based in Plainview, NY, with an anticipated duration of 8 months.
