Job Description: Project Manager Apprentice Title: Project Manager Apprentice Department: Contract Reports To: Project Manager Location: California FLSA: Non-Exempt Summary A Project Manager Apprentice is responsible for working within a collaborative team. A Project Manager Apprentice’s duties and responsibilities are intended to support the sales efforts of the Account Team by executing multiple projects simultaneously through collaboration of both internal and external stakeholders. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Maintain a construction schedule to deliver projects on timeMaintain budget and project expensesInterpret construction methods, contracts, and drawingsManage kitchen equipment and custom fabrication procurement, delivery, and installCollaborate with sub-contractors, GC, and customers throughout a projectAbility to travel to job site(s) Required Qualifications Highly organized with a great attention to detail Strong verbal and written communications skills Able to collaborate in a highly professional manner Able to problem solve both independently and collaboratively Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Supervisory Responsibility This position has no current supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This position operates in both a professional office environment, as well as occasionally on construction and/or job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and works under fluorescent lighting. Noise levels in the work environment are usually moderate but can be severe at times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
