Project Manager - Advanced Technology Facilities
About the role
At Jacobs, our PM/CM team works seamlessly with clients by delivering projects and programs to achieve our clients’ goals. Whether it’s managing construction or designing buildings, solutions are continuously being implemented. What we do is more than construction; we play a part in moving a vision from concept to reality. Based at our client's site in the Syracuse, Rochester or Buffalo areas, you will report directly to the Project Executive and will work alongside other project team members focusing on projects in the conception to close-out phase.
You’ll manage advanced technology projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers, and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client's facility. You will have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment applications. Bring your expertise to solve complex problems and provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage advanced technology projects using established controls and procedures
- Provide job site leadership in scheduling, safety, quality, and coordination with designers
- Address critical issues pertinent to the project or client’s facility
- Oversee the change order and cost review process
- Review and approve contractor’s payment applications
- Multi-task, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Support and engage with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams to maximize project outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases, including work in Advanced Technology Facilities, Semiconductor Facilities, or Data Centers
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components, team building, and client relationship building
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 to $165,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
