Project Manager - Advanced Technology Facilities
At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery, and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
About the role
Our PM/CM team works seamlessly with clients by delivering projects and programs to achieve their goals. Whether it’s managing construction or designing buildings, solutions are continuously being implemented. What we do is more than construction; we play a part in moving a vision from concept to reality.
We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client's site in the Syracuse, Rochester, or Buffalo areas, you will report directly to the Project Executive and will work alongside other project team members focusing on projects in the conception to close-out phase.
You’ll manage advanced technology projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers, and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client's facility. You will have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment applications.
Bring your expertise to solve complex problems and provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects. Your ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
At Jacobs, we’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates.
