About the role

Forvia Hella is seeking a project manager to join their Controls, Actuators, and Sensors team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of assigned electronic-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on new program to market launches, including the current accelerator pedal and a new industry-leading brake-by-wire pedal.
• Build relationships with both internal and external clients to establish and steer existing programs.
• Take ownership of assigned international project goals, including planning, steering, and controlling activities.
• Achieve project targets in an ever-changing business environment to prevent scope creep.
• Vigilantly watch over risk assessment and own all change management functions of assigned programs.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field of study (Engineering or other technical fields preferred)
• 3+ years experience of project management experience in the automotive industry
• Working knowledge of SAP, APQP, and the product development process
• Above average verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills
