Project Manager 1 - Construction
Sodexo is seeking an Engineering and Construction Project Manager to provide operations, maintenance, repairs, and minor construction for the University of Kansas Health System POM located in Kansas City, KS. The University of Kansas Health System is a world-class academic medical center and destination for complex care and diagnosis.

This role involves performing specialized technical tasks to support operations, primarily achieved independently, though you may collaborate with a team.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of diverse construction projects, from new builds to renovations, driving progress and quality
- Lead and motivate project teams with clear goals and structured timelines
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to keep projects on schedule
- Collaborate with site management and stakeholders to maintain seamless communication and workflow
- Build hands-on experience managing the full lifecycle of construction projects
- Develop problem-solving skills by navigating challenges on-site with agility

Requirements
- Experience in managing construction projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery
- Technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts, including schedules, resources, and contractor activities
- Problem-solving mindset with agility to handle challenges and adapt on-site
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of management experience
- 3 years of related experience
Pay
$74,290 – $96,140 per year
