Project Management Specialist, Mid
As a Project Management Specialist, you will be the driving force behind the delivery of improvement initiatives across our organization. Partner with stakeholders to define scopes, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. Act as a catalyst for positive change by analyzing current state processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing, implementing, and monitoring optimized future-state workflows. Collaborate with organizational leaders to design, implement, and manage communications to engage internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver improvement initiatives by defining scopes, managing timelines, and ensuring quality standards
- Analyze current state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized future-state workflows
- Implement and monitor process improvements
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to design and manage communications for internal and external audiences
- Facilitate workshops and lead change management efforts
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a project management or process improvement role
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence)
- Experience in process mapping, data analysis, and workflow optimization (Microsoft Visio, Power BI, Jira)
- Ability to develop communications for varied audiences
- Ability to work across various teams
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with graphic design or multimedia editing
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications
- Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certifications

Pay
Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:
- Remote: Generally virtual, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
- Onsite: Primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.
Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
