Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager

Role: PMO Project Manager responsible for leading and managing multiple complex projects within a healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities Provide project management leadership by planning, managing, controlling, and reporting on project work.Apply project management methodologies to achieve organizational goals, develop project objectives, and ensure proper documentation and reporting of metrics such as milestones, resource usage, and change control.Collaborate with Portfolio Program Managers, internal/external stakeholders, and vendors to allocate resources and resolve conflicts.Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring project health.Maintain responsive customer service through continuous communication about project status and priorities.Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.Ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations, policies, and laws, developing internal controls as needed.Stay updated on the latest trends in IT Project Management and incorporate new knowledge into work practices.Travel locally as needed for project-related activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, health administration, or related field, with 60 months of project management experience or a master’s degree with 36 months of experience.Experience managing multiple healthcare projects, including planning, tracking, and delivering complex initiatives.Proficiency in creating project charters, scopes, schedules (using Microsoft Project), gathering requirements, and workflow design (using Visio).Strong stakeholder coordination, presentation, and conflict management skills.
