About the role
The PMO leader will own the integration and program-delivery engine behind Valley Vital Care's acquisition strategy. They will integrate Corporate Development, Finance, IT, HR, and Clinical teams, ensuring alignment on integration timelines, synergy realization, governance, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own the master integration plan for every acquisition, mapping workstreams, sequencing activities, identifying dependencies, and running regular meetings.
- Drive Day 1 readiness across all functions to a single close date.
- Translate synergies into a tracked, owned, time-bound capture plan, working with Finance to validate baselines and maintain the single source of truth for synergy status.
- Manage Time-to-Sales (TSA) exits on time, preventing erosion of margins.
- Coordinate cross-functional integration efforts, removing friction at handoffs and driving 95%+ adherence to the standardized playbook.
- Staff and onboard integration project managers, and partner with HR on change management for acquired employees.
- Own the M&A integration playbook as a living asset, conducting post-integration reviews and applying continuous improvement methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA) or PMP / PgMP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive program/project management leadership, including at least 2 years owning multi-workstream programs end to end.
- Demonstrated experience operating in a PE-backed, growth-stage, or comparable high-tempo environment.
- Direct M&A integration, IMO, or post-merger integration experience strongly preferred.
- A track record of program improvement using structured methods (Lean, Six Sigma, PMI, or equivalent).
- Comfort with program and financial data: portfolio dashboards, synergy models, basic financial statements.
Qualifications
- PREFERRED: Healthcare, multi-site, or specialty-pharmacy platform experience; experience integrating acquired companies; experience standing up an IMO or PMO from scratch.
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with financial modeling and portfolio management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Benefits
Centrally based with :25–40% travel to acquired and target sites.
Pay
Depending on experience and scope, this role may be leveled as Senior Manager, Director, or VP of the PMO.
Schedule
Exempt, with :25–40% travel to acquired and target sites during diligence, Day 1, and the 100-day window; centrally based otherwise, with occasional travel to the PE sponsor and other corporate sites.
