Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex Experimental Flight Test projects while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Couple cross-functional teams to establish project plans, milestones, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
- Partner with engineering teams, technical specialists, suppliers, business leaders, and customer representatives to drive project success.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, priorities, and resource allocation plans across multiple concurrent projects.
- Identify project risks and lead mitigation planning and execution activities.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Participate in and coordinate safety and security processes related to product development and flight test activities.
- Support investigations and corrective actions related to potential product deficiencies.
- Create and present project reports and executive-level updates.
- Cookordinate activities across multiple sites and support remote collaboration as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5-8 years of experience in Project Management within the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience supporting aircraft development, certification, or flight test programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Preferred
- Experience supporting aircraft certification programs.
- Knowledge of flight test operations and aerospace product development processes.
- Experience managing multi-site or geographically dispersed teams.
