Project Management Engineer

About the role

Located just outside of Corpus Christi, Gulf Coast Growth Ventures brings innovation to the Coastal Bend, while enhancing U.S. manufacturing infrastructure and producing materials that make high performance, everyday products possible. The broader manufacturing team at GCGV is about 400 employees across operations, maintenance, and administrative, professional and managerial positions.

Responsibilities

• Join the site-based capital projects team focused on small projects < $10M
• Act as the Project leader with accountability for the safety, quality, schedule, and cost delivery of your assigned projects
• Work across teams, identify and drive problem resolution, interface and direct multiple project disciplines (e.g. safety, cost, schedule, quality, etc.)
• Communicate clearly to site teams, management, and contractor organizations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience (3 or more years) in oil and gas / petrochemical industry or other relevant industry
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads & frequent changes in priorities
• Basic knowledge of project relevant tool & software Navisworks, Excel
• Experience & knowledge in chemical process design is an advantage
