Project Management/Customer Service

About the role

Grothouse is a nationally recognized manufacturer of luxury wood surfaces, architectural millwork, custom tables, stair components, and specialty wood products. Our work is found in some of the finest homes and commercial spaces across North America. We stock more than 60 species of wood, and every project is project-managed and engineered one at a time. Your role in contributing to the team in Project Management/Customer Service is a vital one.

Responsibilities

• Project managing our customer's sales orders and order details
• Processing estimates
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability
• Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments
• Communicating and coordinating with Engineering, Production, and the Sales Team as necessary

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in sales or working with designers, architects and/or interior designers is a plus

• Ear-to-Ear Telephone Interactions and Follow Up
• Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities
• Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word) and willing to learn additional information systems and/or software
• Skilled in E-mail communication
• Previous experience reading drawings/diagrams a plus
• Previous experience with QuickBooks also a plus

Pay

Starting wage band is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour, according to your experience. High growth can be expected with increased contribution. Raises are based on your performance and ability to contribute. The opportunity for growth is limitless.

Schedule

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day-shift role. We run flex time from day one — you set a schedule that works for your life: come in earlier or later, and if you have a doctor's appointment or your kid's game, shift your hours instead of burning time off. We built this policy because we think punishing someone for being three minutes late is a stupid way to run a company. Please note, this is NOT a virtual or remote position. We are located in beautiful Germansville, Lehigh County, PA.
