Project Management Analyst – Environmental Science and Compliance - NOAA programs

@Orchard LLC is seeking an experienced Project Management Analyst to support a highly visible NOAA National Ocean Service (NOS) program. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting environmental science and compliance projects. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate compliance processes and requirements.
- Perform detailed reviews of project awards to ensure they meet all environmental requirements and assist other representatives with the review process.
- Lead meetings and draft award summaries regularly.
- Provide any documentation and administrative support as needed by the program team.
- Act as a Technical Lead to evaluate and provide input on field activities identified in project awards.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to recommend and update SOPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience supporting environmental science, marine science, or environmental compliance programs, or Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- NOAA and/or any NOAA-funded program experience is a preference.
- Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging with diverse program staff.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of environmental law and policies.
