Location
On‑site at McLean, Virginia (Manassas Virginia, D.C. Region).
Responsibilities
- Proficient understanding and knowledge of Telecommunication Systems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS.
- Lead the design and deployment of integrated infrastructure and telecommunications systems, electronic security systems, or fire and life safety.
- Assist the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
- Coordinate and run a project kick‑off meeting (PKOM) and key monthly project (KPR) reviews.
- Research and compile submittals, identify and price change orders, and prepare estimates for projects.
- Provide overall development, training, and leadership to Junior Project Leadership, Field‑Superintendents, and Trades personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling method and General Contractor schedules.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience and established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, Government Airports, Higher‑Education, and Information Transit Systems.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance (not required to start).
Salary
Salary range: $100,000 – $140,000, depending on experience.
