About the role

You'll work within the Readiness and Resilience team based in our York Rail Operating Centre to provide project management skill and rigour to deliver change projects for our frontline Operations teams. Whether you are working to deliver new operational working environments for our signallers or controllers, coordinating and tracking delivery of new training, or helping to integrate new technology to support our teams, you will be making a difference to improve performance and safety for the East Coast Main Line Railway.

You don't need to be a railway operations expert for this role, but being enthusiastic to learn and staying close to our end users is essential to ensure we deliver projects that will make a difference for them.

This vacancy is full-time, based in the East Coast Route.

Responsibilities

• Deliver change projects for frontline Operations teams
• Provide project management to improve operational working environments for signallers and controllers
• Coordinate and track delivery of new training
• Integrate new technology to support teams
• Ensure projects enhance performance and safety for the East Coast Main Line Railway

Requirements

• Experience of working in change projects
• Understanding of applying project methodologies
• Educated to degree level
• Commercial and financial awareness
