Project Leader 1/2

Los Alamos National Laboratory · Los Alamos, NM · 1 mo ago
Information Technology$97k–$158k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes "What You Will Do" and "What You Need". Also includes salary ranges for each level. Also includes benefits description. Also includes work location, position commitment, etc. We need to decide which sections to include: About the role (maybe summary), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We must only include sections when posting has real specific content. We have content for responsibilities (the bullet list). We have requirements (minimum job requirements). We have qualifications (desired qualifications). We have skills (maybe part of requirements). We have benefits (the generous benefits package). We have Pay (salary ranges). We have Schedule? Not explicit schedule; only "Flexible schedules and time off" mentioned under benefits. Could treat schedule as part of benefits, not separate. The instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. So we can include Pay section with salary ranges. Benefits section with bullet list of benefits. Responsibilities section with bullet list of duties. Requirements section with bullet list of minimum job requirements. Qualifications section with bullet list of desired qualifications. Skills maybe covered under requirements; but we could still include Skills if we have explicit skill list. The posting includes "Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills." and "Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite." Also "Ability to learn the Utilities and Transportation portfolios." etc. Those are more requirements. Could combine into Requirements. But we can also have Skills section separate if we want. However we should avoid thin sections. Probably better to have: Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. Also maybe About the role (summary). The posting includes a paragraph describing role at start: "The Project Leader for Institutional Facilities (IF) Division is functionally a Project Manager..." That's about the role. So we can have About the role section with that paragraph(s). Also we have Work Location and Position commitment maybe could be part of About the role or separate? Could include as part of About the role. But we can keep it simple: About the role (summary), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits, Pay. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. Use

for section headings. Use
  • for any list. Use

for prose. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from the posting, but we can combine similar items but not lose detail. Must not omit any substantive info. That's a lot. We need to ensure we capture everything: The description of IF support 9000+ tenants etc. The teamwork culture. The mission. The responsibilities list (many bullet items). The Project Leader 2 additional responsibilities. The minimum job requirements (knowledge and expertise, organizational skills, collaboration, relationship management, communication, technology). Additional job requirements for higher level (list). Training/Certifications: PMP or Project Management Certificate preferred. Education/Experience at lower level: bachelor's + 2 years; or equivalent. Education/Experience at higher level: bachelor's + 5 years; or equivalent. Desired Qualifications list (knowledge of regulatory requirements, experience coordinating with external agencies, ability to quickly learn complex org structures, familiarity with utility systems, etc.). Note to Applicants (citizenship restrictions) - that's substantive; we need to include. Work Environment: Work Location: onsite Los Alamos, NM. Position commitment: 1 year regular appointment. Where You Will Work paragraph about LANL. Benefits package list. Additional Details: Directive 206.2, Clearance Q, etc. New-Employment Drug Test, Regular position, Equal Opportunity statement. All of these are substantive. We need to decide where to place each piece. Could create sections: About the role (includes description of IF, mission, etc.). Responsibilities (includes both levels? maybe separate sub-sections? But we can combine responsibilities for both levels, noting that PL2 includes additional leadership responsibilities). Could also have a separate section for "Additional responsibilities for Project Leader 2". But we can incorporate within responsibilities with note. Requirements: Minimum Job Requirements (knowledge and expertise, organizational skills, collaboration, relationship management, communication, technology). Additional Job Requirements for higher level (list). Training/Certifications. Education/Experience (lower and higher). Could combine. Qualifications: Desired Qualifications list. Benefits: list of benefits. Pay: salary ranges for each level. Schedule: Not explicit; we have "Flexible schedules and time off" under benefits; we could mention schedule in Benefits. Other info: Note to Applicants (citizenship restrictions), Work Location, Position commitment, Clearance, Directive, Drug test, Equal Opportunity. These could go under a section like "Additional Information" or "Eligibility & Requirements". But we only have predefined headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could put some of those under Requirements (e.g., citizenship restrictions, clearance, drug test) as part of Requirements. Or we could create a separate section not in list? The instruction says use those headings for section headings; but we can also add other headings? It says: "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." The e.g. suggests those are examples, not exclusive list. But we should prefer those headings. However we can also add other headings if needed, but better to stick to those. We can fit extra info into Requirements or About the role. Let's plan:
