Project Lead - Infrastructure
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Runs major project crews and provides necessary training.
- Assumes responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and holds weekly safety meetings.
- Initiates performance-related communications and escalates to Project Manager if necessary.
- Collaborates with Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and compliance with project budget.
- Completes all IES COMMERCIAL and project paperwork accurately and on time.
- Performs quality checks and prepares red-lined as-built drawings.
- Serves as the main on-site customer contact for questions and concerns.
- Resolves technical issues as they arise during work.
- Completes other responsibilities as assigned.

- Self-motivated, positive approach, professional demeanor, and ability to create, develop, and implement project process improvements.
- Promotes the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
- Acts as the Company liaison for interfacing with customer representatives.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to read, write, and give oral presentations.
- Able to work at heights, off ladders, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds.
- Able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, hear and recognize audible signals, and travel within the branch or regional territory as needed.
- Proficient with the listed tools and able to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Maintains Company driving standards.
Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- At least three (3) years of experience as an electrician or related technical field.
- Ability to terminate fiber.
- Minimum six (6) months of supervisory and/or managerial experience.
- Proficiency with the listed tools.
- Knowledge of universal communication color codes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Meets Company minimum driving standards.
