Project Lead - Infrastructure

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Runs major project crews and provides necessary training.
• Assumes responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and holds weekly safety meetings.
• Initiates performance-related communications and escalates to Project Manager if necessary.
• Collaborates with Project Manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and compliance with project budget.
• Completes all IES COMMERCIAL and project paperwork accurately and on time.
• Performs quality checks and prepares red-lined as-built drawings.
• Serves as the main on-site customer contact for questions and concerns.
• Resolves technical issues as they arise during work.
• Completes other responsibilities as assigned.

• Promotes the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
• Acts as the Company liaison for interfacing with customer representatives.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to read, write, and give oral presentations.
• Able to work at heights, off ladders, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds.
• Able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print, hear and recognize audible signals, and travel within the branch or regional territory as needed.
• Proficient with the listed tools and able to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• Maintains Company driving standards.

Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• At least three (3) years of experience as an electrician or related technical field.
• Ability to terminate fiber.
• Minimum six (6) months of supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Proficiency with the listed tools.
• Knowledge of universal communication color codes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and other project documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• Meets Company minimum driving standards.
