Project Houseman - Housekeeping- Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Posts caution signs.
• Contacts other departments directly for urgent repairs.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
• Removes items from hallways and transports to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts.
• Cleans, maintains, and stores cleaning equipment.
• Deep cleans carpets, walls, ceilings, drapery, furniture, etc. in rooms, corridors, elevators, motor lodge - helps clean up overflows – and bio hazard situations.
• Moves furniture, supplies, equipment.
• Works with the management team during remodel or upgrade projects.
• Might be required to cover shifts as a houseman.
• Uses equipment such as shampoo machine, rotary floor machine, steam machine, pallet jack, extractor.
• Performs other assignments as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/push 75 lbs without restrictions.
• Organizational ability to complete all tasks assigned.
• Adherence to all departmental policies and procedures.
• Age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must adhere to all grooming standards, no "visible" tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
