About the role
ALLWEST is a leading consulting firm specializing in engineering, environmental services, and construction materials testing. We’re growing and looking for a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team across multiple locations in the Inland Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical investigations and foundation design for public and private projects.
- Analyze ground conditions, slope stability, and seismic hazards.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and technical recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and field staff.
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clients and attend project meetings.
- Support business development and participate in professional organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering preferred).
- Registration as Professional Engineer in the states of Idaho and/or Washington within 30 days of employment, as well as maintain professional registrations in the state(s) in which they practice.
- 5-10 years of geotechnical experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for solving complex engineering challenges
Qualifications
Position may be in office or hybrid – office and work from home – as required to fulfill all Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
