Project Geologist II

About the role

ARM Group LLC is seeking a Project Geologist II who will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers, geologists, and environmental professionals to support landfills and other solid waste facilities throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. The position provides an opportunity to take increasing responsibility for technical work, project management, regulatory coordination, and client relationships. Location: This position can be filled in our West Chester, PA, Hershey, PA, or Marlton, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of landfill permit applications, permit modifications, renewals, and other PADEP solid waste regulatory submittals such as quarterly and annual groundwater monitoring reports.
• Plan, manage, and perform hydrogeologic investigations associated with landfills and other solid waste facilities.
• Evaluate groundwater flow, groundwater quality, geologic conditions, and potential impacts associated with solid waste facilities.
• Manage groundwater monitoring and assessment programs, including evaluation of analytical data, groundwater elevations, trends, and potential changes in groundwater quality.
• Design and oversee monitoring well installation, drilling programs, aquifer testing, groundwater sampling, and related field investigations.
• Assist with investigation and evaluation of groundwater quality exceedances; statistically significant quality changes in monitoring wells, seeps, springs
