Responsibilities
- Conduct and manage environmental investigations and remediation projects
- Meet with clients and regulatory agencies such as the US EPA and local health agencies
- Write and review various remedial documents and technical reports
- Design and negotiate solutions for contaminated sites
- Direct GIS-based production of maps and plans
- Conduct statistical evaluations of groundwater data
- Mentor and train junior staff in field procedures and GIS
Qualifications
- BS in Geology or closely aligned field with completion of a field course
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting with subsurface investigations
- California PG license required
- Experienced with groundwater sampling methods, including low-flow sampling
- 40-hour OSHA certification and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER refresher
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Pay
$100,000 – $200,000 annually
