Job Description
The Project Finance Associate II supports the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing actual results compared to the budget
- Aiding in the monthly financial close
- Reviewing monthly results to identify and investigate variances
- Preparing reports and presentations to explain month-end outcomes
- Creating financial models to aid decision making
- Acting as the main business partner for designated cost centers, providing financial guidance, analysis, and support
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of direct, proven experience in a similar finance position
- Background working with accounting teams, department heads, and company leadership in a mid-size or large organization
- Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with financial planning tools
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet hard deadlines
What Would Be Nice to Have
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification or Master’s degree
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Reporting
- Experience with PeopleSoft and/or CostPoint
- Strong presentation abilities and capable of engaging with all levels of the organization, including executive management, to aid financial decisions
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar tools for dashboard creation, executive-level reporting, and data visualization
- Experience working with stakeholders in Private Equity-backed environments or public companies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of direct, proven experience in a similar finance position.
Skills
