Responsibilities
- Lead Teams of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
- Oversee commercial mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design specifications, budget and schedule
- Review project plans and specifications, build project schedules, make recommendations of potential cost-saving measures and identify potential construction problems
- Complete job cost breakdowns, schedule of values, and review / approve project billings
- Work with general contractors, vendors and subcontractors to coordinate project schedules, RFIs and change orders
- Order mechanical and/or plumbing materials as required and ensure delivery in accordance to project schedules
- Cookordinate with field superintendents on manpower needs, adjusting as needed
- Conduct and attend pre-construction and post construction meetings
- Manage multiple projects varying in scope simultaneously
- Continuous communication with office personnel, GC, owner and others as needed
- Complete all required documentation electronically
- Oversee and continuously monitor project site safety for all involved at the site
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience on commercial mechanical or plumbing construction projects including healthcare, medical gas, educational, institutional, military and others
- Management of projects ranging in size and scope with a minimum contract value of $20M required
- Experience successfully leading direct reports
- Experienced with project cost to complete, project financials and project close outs
- OSHA 10 Hour required
- OSHA 30 Hour required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Required aptitude on construction
- A positive attitude, be professional and self-motivated
- Ability to work as both an individual contributor and a team player
